Elizabeth Anderson Nominated for Lead Performance at the Fringe Theatre Awards

We are delighted to announce that our client Elizabeth Anderson has been nominated for Lead Performance (Play) at the Fringe Theatre Awards for her role as Ava in Quiet Light.

Our warmest congratulations to Elizabeth on this richly deserved recognition.

About the production

Quiet Light, written by Erin Hutton, directed by Rio Rose Joubert and produced by Ethan H.M.M., ran at Baron's Court Theatre in West Kensington, one of London's most respected pub theatres, with a longstanding reputation for nurturing new writing and emerging artists.

Set in a remote lighthouse in a flooded world, the play follows Ava, a solitary lighthouse keeper, as the arrival of a marooned sailor unsettles the fragile equilibrium of her isolation. It is a haunting, atmospheric piece of new writing, and Elizabeth's performance was singled out by critics across the run.

Reviewing the production for Everything Theatre, Maisie Sumner concluded that "Anderson cannot be praised too highly", describing her performance as flawless and praising the intense believability she brought to the role.

The full list of nominations can be found on the Fringe Theatre Awards website, with winners announced at the annual Awards Ceremony.

Our congratulations

Our sincere congratulations go to Elizabeth, to Erin Hutton, Rio Rose Joubert and Ethan H.M.M., and to the wider company behind Quiet Light — as well as to the team at Baron's Court Theatre for continuing to provide a home for work of this calibre.

We look forward to the ceremony, and to all that lies ahead for Elizabeth.
